When the founder of Tender Touch, Puan Shafiza, approached us for a collaboration, we were initially a bit hesitant — this was something entirely new to us. The idea was to create a functional shirt designed for children with special needs, including those with developmental challenges, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome.
We knew that without proper research and understanding, the design could cause discomfort for the children. So, KIMYRA and Tender Touch sat together to brainstorm and carefully identify the most suitable features — focusing on both the comfort of the children and the convenience of their parents.
Alhamdulillah, during the dinner event with Lotus’s representatives as the main sponsor, we proudly presented the collaboration. Seeing the children so happy and confident wearing the shirts — and witnessing the crowd’s applause during the mini fashion show — was truly heartwarming. MasyaAllah, the feeling was indescribable.
